Autolink was set up in Feb 1996 to provide a platform for selling cars on the internet.  This was before the likes of Autotrader and Exchange & Mart had an internet presence.  We set up sites for dealers and provided free advertising for private sellers. Autolink has grown significantly since those early days and now offers a huge range of new and used MX-5 parts.
Since the EU referendum and the fall in the value of sterling our importing business has been badly hit, so we are in the process of relocating to Castle Douglas and plan to be operating from Scotland from the end of 2017.

 

 

We are creating an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller & Admin Assistant who can support us to drive the business forward.

 

 

Stock controller & Admin assistant duties

 

Stock control duties

    • Use Sage to produce daily stock report

    • Order stock from suppliers

    • When deliveries come in, check items in delivery against order & delivery note

    • Label parts in deliveries

    • Put parts away in stores

    • Update Sage with stock adjustments in

    • Check out of stock list for back order parts that have arrived

    • Keep out of stock list up to date

    • Update stock quantities on eBay and shop listings for parts that are back in stock

    • Stock taking

    • Check emails for eBay sales where stock level shows zero, update if required

    • Check emails for shop sales where stock level shows zero, update if required

Admin assistant duties

    • Answer phone and take messages if required

    • Assist post room staff with picking parts for orders

Skills required – training will be given where needed

    • Good with figures

    • Experience with email

    • Experience with selling on eBay

    • Computer experience

    • Stock control and/or Sage software experience

 

Full time, part time and job share considered.
