Autolink is a family business and was set up in Feb 1996 to provide a platform for selling cars on the internet.  This was before the likes of Autotrader and Exchange & Mart had an internet presence.  We set up sites for dealers and provided free advertising for private sellers. Autolink has grown significantly since those early days and now offers a huge range of new and used MX-5 parts.
Since the EU referendum and the fall in the value of sterling our importing business has been badly hit, so we are in the process of relocating to Castle Douglas and plan to be operating from Scotland from the end of 2017.

 

 

We are creating an exciting opportunity for a Post Room Person who can support us to drive the business forward.

 

 

Job Description

 

    • Use Tradebox software to import orders from eBay & EKM shop to Sage

    • Use Sage to produce eBay order invoices

    • Identify paid orders on EKM shop, mark as processing and print invoices

    • Check eBay messages

    • Check emails for shop order queries

    • Go through orders, looking out for multiple items, next day, international, express and highlight them accordingly

    • Collect parts for orders from stores

    • Assemble orders, pack and weigh them

    • Use Royal Mail DMO system to produce postage labels for items going by post

    • Use Courier online systems for items going by courier

    • Check for emails and orders coming in throughout the day

    • Prepare customs forms & invoices for items going outside the EU

    • Process end of day for couriers

    • Bag Royal Mail items into UK Parcels, UK letters, Special delivery and International

    • Process end of day for Royal Mail

    • Mark orders as dispatched, with tracking details where available on eBay & shop

    • Order packaging materials, bags, boxes, labels, tape, printer consumables etc.

Skills required – training will be given if needed

    • Good with figures

    • Ability to package items safely, neatly and economically

    • Experience with email

    • Experience with selling on eBay

    • Computer experience

    • Good telephone manner

    • Experience with Royal Mail and courier systems

    • Sage software experience

Full time, part time and job share considered.
